When I first met the lion I was very proud and happy. I was a little bit afraid because I was close up to it. I love the colors of the lion, to see the beard and the hair around the mouth and also the branch crossing over it. People say that lion is the king of the jungle and really it was amazing to see it. For Liberia, we have lions but I’ve not seen loins in Liberia. This is a female lion. The male has a mane, the female does not. This lion was just a few hours after she gave birth. The only disappointing part was I never saw the babies. I love this lion and I would like to take more photos of lions to share it around the world.

Elephant Feet: I met this elephant and it came very close to me. I was very happy because it was also my first time to see one, especially coming so close. I just decided to take this photo of the feet because I like the way it moves. And also the design, the lines on her foot (because I believe it was a female). I love elephants because I also have elephants at home in Liberia. Elephants bring relationships among people around the world because it connects the community together by answering to people’s messages. I learned this through the communication between Mama Deena and the elephant on that very day. ‘
My message around the world is that we have to take care with our animals so that we can be connected to them. I will like in future that we the Liberians should have connections with those animals we have. In other words, I will like for some people to come from around the world to come to Liberia to see our animals.

Elephant: For this photo, I love the bigness and the tusks and the trunk. Also I like the way it’s standing and facing us. I love the background because it was coming from the bush, coming closer to us. He and Deena were communicating to come very close to us. I like the reaction from the elephant. Of course it don’t talk but it gives sings to those who understand the signs. I will like in future as a Future Guardian of Peace, to understand the sound of the elephant so that I can share the message around the world.
